According to the Minnesota State Demographers Office, for every person not sending in their census form, the state loses out on more than $10,000 in federal funding over the course of the decade for every person not counted by the Census. This means that if 100 people aren’t counted, the state loses more than a million dollars for roads, transit, education and other programs important to our regional vitality. |
