Each year our area's outstanding businesses are recognized for their contribution to our vibrant community with these three awards:
- Business Hall of Fame Award - Honors businesses in Greater Mankato for more than 10 years
- Distinguished Business Award - Honors businesses in Greater Mankato for 3-10 years
- Entrepreneurial Business Award - Honors businesses in Greater Mankato for less than 3 years

Many innovative partnerships between local businesses and educational institutions have benefited our community. Each year, the Brian Fazio Business Education Partnership Award recognizes an outstanding partnership during the previous year. These partnerships offer businesses the opportunity to assist in growing and training their future workforce, while offering students the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge needed to enter into local, in-demand careers in Greater Mankato.

The Hap Halligan Leadership award is presented to a graduate of Leadership Institute of Greater Mankato. The purpose of the Hap Halligan Leadership Award is to recognize and honor an individual whose participation in the Leadership Institute of Greater Mankato program has helped to provide an impetus for outstanding contributions to our community.

New in 2008, the Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes an individual between the ages of 21 and 39 who has made an outstanding contribution to the Greater Mankato community in the past year.
Presented by the Greater Mankato Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Hospitality Award recognizes an individual, group or organization who has gone above and beyond to provide outstanding hospitality to the visitors of Greater Mankato OR who has helped promote Greater Mankato as a great destination to visit.
The Bring It Home Award recognizes an individual, group or organization that works alongside the Greater Mankato Convention & Visitors Bureau to bring a significant event to Greater Mankato.
This year Greater Mankato Growth and the Greater Mankato Convention and Visitors Bureau will each recognize outstanding volunteers who have contributed to the success of each organization and those we serve. Recipients are nominated and selected by staff members of each organization.

The Pathfinder Award was created in 1986 to recognize individuals or organizations that, in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King , are initiators or action-takers in the struggle for equal treatment, human rights and non-violence.

The Young Pathfinder Award was introduced in 2002 to recognize the commitment and courage displayed by area young people to achieve fair and equal treatment for all, healthy communities and peaceful resolution to conflicts.

The Business Pathfinder Award was first presented in 2003 and recognizes area businesses that strive for equal treatment, human rights and non-violence in the workplace. Past recipients include: 2007 Eide Bailly, 2006 Mankato Clinic, 2005 Immanuel St. Joseph's-Mayo Health System, 2004 Charley's, 2003 Mankato Ford.
