2015 Songs on the Lawn Band Lineup Announced

(April 7, 2015) MANKATO, MINN. -  Greater Mankato Growth presents the 12th annual Songs on the Lawn – the popular summer commencement featuring music, entertainment and local food. Songs on the Lawn is presented by Xcel Energy and takes place every Thursday in June from 11 am to 1 pm at Jackson Park on Second Avenue next to The Free Press. Parking available around the city center free of charge.

This year’s musical lineup includes:

  • June 4, Pour Me Band
  • June 11, Rogue Valley
  • June 18, The Last Revel
  • June 25, The PorchLights

Songs on the Lawn is a community event for co-workers, families and friends to gather and enjoy sun, entertainment, activities and food. Attendees may purchase lunch and snacks sold by a variety of local vendors including: Buffalo Wild Wings, Culver’s Frozen Custard, Dino’s Gourmet Pizzeria, Hy-Vee, Neighbor's Italian Bistro, Number 4 American Bar & Kitchen, Olives, Primrose Retirement Community, Pub 500, Sodexo, Tavern on the Avenue and The Loose Moose Saloon & Conference Center
