31st Annual Greater Mankato Leadership Institute is Underway
MANKATO Minn. (September 17, 2014) – The Greater Mankato Leadership Institute, a program of Greater Mankato Growth, provides the community’s emerging leaders with comprehensive training focused on developing professional, personal and community leadership skills. This year’s class includes 40 current and emerging leaders from a variety of area businesses and organizations.
The newest class to go through the Leadership Institute will start Wednesday, September 17 with a leadership challenge that includes a Strengths Finder assessment. Class will continue on Thursday, September 18 with a team leadership focus that includes both on ground team building initiatives and high ropes course activity.

About the Greater Mankato Leadership Institute
Through presentations, hands-on experiences, assessment tools and tours, the Leadership Institute helps participants turn knowledge into action. The program’s experiential focus allows participants to learn and practice leadership skills, so they can effectively transfer those skills to their professional and personal lives. The program runs September–May, with 10 day-long sessions.
