32nd Greater Mankato Leadership Institute Class Graduating Wednesday
MANKATO Minn. (May 16, 2016) - The Greater Mankato Leadership Institute will graduate its 32nd class this Wednesday, May 18 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. (official graduation ceremony 7:15 - 7:45 p.m.) at Country Inn & Suites Hotel & Conference Center by Carlson, 1900 Premier Drive, Mankato. The graduating class consists of 43 individuals that represent a variety of Greater Mankato businesses and nonprofit organizations.
“Participants in the program consistently comment on the lasting relationships they build during the course of the program.” said Shannon Gullickson, Greater Mankato Growth Talent Programs Director. “It’s amazing to see over time how class members implement the skills they gained in the program by taking on new leadership roles in their workplaces and the community.”
The Greater Mankato Leadership Institute has a long tradition of providing our community’s emerging leaders with comprehensive training focused on developing professional, personal and community leadership skills. Through presentations, hands-on experiences, assessment tools and tours, the Leadership Institute helps participants turn knowledge into action. The program’s experiential focus allows participants to learn and practice leadership skills, so they can effectively transfer those skills to their professional and personal lives. Each year the curriculum is updated to ensure graduates are well prepared to serve as leaders in their workplace and community.
