33rd Greater Mankato Leadership Institute Class Graduating Wednesday
Mankato, MINN (May 15, 2017) – The Greater Mankato Leadership Institute will graduate its 33rd class this Wednesday, May 17th from 4:30 – 7:30 pm (official graduation ceremony begins at 6:30 pm) at Courtyard by Marriott Hotel & Event Center, 901 Raintree Road, Mankato.
The graduating class consists of 41 individuals that represent a variety of Greater Mankato businesses and nonprofit organizations. “Participants in the program consistently comment on the lasting relationships they build during the program.” said Shannon Gullickson, Greater Mankato Growth Talent Programs Director. “It’s rewarding to see how the graduates implement skills they gained in the program by taking on new leadership roles in their workplace and the community.”
The Greater Mankato Leadership Institute has a long tradition of providing our community’s emerging leaders with comprehensive training focused on developing professional, personal and community leadership skills. Through presentations, hands-on experiences, assessment tools and tours, the Leadership Institute helps participants turn knowledge into action. The program’s experiential focus allows participants to learn and practice leadership skills, so they can effectively transfer those skills to their professional and personal lives.
The curriculum is updated annually to ensure graduates are prepared to serve as leaders in the workplace and community. Greater Mankato Growth is currently accepting applications for the 2017-18 Greater Mankato Leadership Institute class. Applications are due June 1.
