SUMMARY:Christmas with Musicorum
DESCRIPTION:Musicorum\, greater Mankato’s premiere chamber choral ensemble (Dr. Elisabeth Cherland\, music director)\, will present a holiday-themed concert featuring various choral music styles. We will perform choral works by Renaissance composers Tomas Luis de Victoria\, Richard Dering and Michael Praetorius\, 20th-century composers Herbert Howells and John Tavener\, and arrangers Alice Parker and Carolyn Jennings. Our program will include works from American\, English\, Spanish\, and Swedish traditions. The concert will include a longstanding Musicorum tradition – audience carols\, accompanied by organ. Dr. David Fienen will provide piano and organ accompaniment.
