SUMMARY:13th Annual Civil War Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Boy in Blue Civil War Memorial will present the 13th annual Civil War Symposium. The symposium will be held on Saturday\, March 28\, 2026 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Morson-Ario-Strand VFW\, 1900 No. Riverfront Dr. in Mankato. \nThe 13th annual symposium theme is: “Tale of Two Revolutions: Liberty and Union – Comparing the American Revolution and the American Civil War”. Featuring a full day of speakers\, costumed interpreters\, Revolutionary and Civil War era music\, exhibits\, books sale\, panel discussions\, and more. \nRegistration is $35/adults and $20/students. Friends of the Boy in Blue 2025 members receive a $5 discount on registration. Registration includes lunch and must be received before March 20\, 2026.
