Five Successful Events for Songs on the Lawn

(July 7, 2016) MANKATO, MINN. -  Greater Mankato Growth held the fifth and last event for the 13th annual Songs on the Lawn earlier this week – the popular summer commencement featuring music, entertainment and local food. Songs on the Lawn is presented by Xcel Energy and takes place every Thursday in June from 11 am - 1 pm at Civic Center Plaza. Parking available around the city center free of charge.

The June 30 event was rescheduled due to a rainy forecast. The rain date was July 7 and the day’s musical entertainment was provided by Good Night Gold Dust.
