Free Trade and the Impact on Minnesota Luncheon Forum
Mankato, MINN (June 12, 2018) – Greater Mankato Growth, in partnership with GreenSeam, will host a free Public Affairs Forum luncheon on June 20 titled Free Trade and the Impact on Minnesota. With international trade supporting more than a quarter million jobs in Minnesota, the current turmoil in the international trade system poses significant risks for the state. We’re pleased to be joined by experts from the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. and the Minnesota-based Center of the American Experiment who will debut new research about the impact of trade on Minnesota’s economy and discuss the importance of trade policies that prioritize free trade and opening new-markets.
This luncheon forum will take place on June 20 at the Sakatah Trail Room, Greater Mankato Business Development Center (1961 Premier Drive, Mankato). Lunch will be served at noon with the program running from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Though the event is free, we ask that attendees please RSVP as lunch will be provided.
Greater Mankato Growth’s Public Affairs Forum Series brings together compelling speakers and business leaders to discuss timely and relevant political and policy issues.
