Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. Seeks Board Nominations
MANKATO, MINN (November 25, 2015) –The Nominating Committees for Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. and its affiliates Visit Mankato and City Center Partnership are currently seeking nominations for their respective Boards.
The Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. Nominating Committee is seeking six individuals to serve on its 24-seat Board of Directors that come from a diverse cross-section of businesses & organizations representing the marketplace. Their mission is to support and promote the economic growth and vitality of their members and the regional marketplace.
The Visit Mankato Nominating Committee is seeking five individuals to serve on its 16-member Board of Governors. Visit Mankato’s mission is to lead the development of the visitor economy in Greater Mankato.
The City Center Partnership Nominating Committee is seeking five individuals to serve on its 20-member Board of Governors. Their mission is to be a catalyst for implementation of the and support private & public investment in City Center projects, programs and initiatives that attract a greater number of customers, employees and residents to the City Center.
Terms are three years and directors may serve for three consecutive terms on the Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. Board, and two consecutive terms on the Visit Mankato and City Center Partnership Boards of Governors. The terms for these seats will run March, 2016 – February, 2019.
All nominations, both incumbent and new applications, are considered by the respective Nominating Committees. Nominations are due by December 31, 2015. Applications and more information, including eligibility requirements, are available at greatermankato.com/board-directors.
