Greater Mankato Growth Ranks Number Six on Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal List

(June 13, 2014) MANKATO, MINN. -  Greater Mankato Growth was recently ranked by membership number, six out of 25 on The List: Chambers of Commerce in Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal. This is the first time the annual list has been inclusive of Metropolitan Statistical Areas. Because Greater Mankato Growth is a regional organization located in the Mankato – North Mankato MSA, comprised of Blue Earth and Nicollet counties, they appeared on the list for the first time, showing up in the top 24%.

“Our organizations success is rooted in the success and collaborative spirit of our marketplace and member businesses,” said Jonathan Zierdt, president and CEO of Greater Mankato Growth. “We would like to thank our members for their investment in GMG, and their continuous support in helping to advance business for a stronger community.”

The list was released June 6 and recorded Greater Mankato Growth having 835 members, as of March 31, 2013. As of June 2014, GMG has 851 members.
