Greater Mankato Leadership Institute to Hold Alumni Social Event June 28

MANKATO Minn. (May 23, 2016) - The Greater Mankato Leadership Institute will hold an alumni social event sponsored by Abdo, Eick & Meyers on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 4 – 6 pm in the 7th floor conference room and patio of Profinium Place, located at 100 Warren Street in Mankato. During the program’s 32-year history, more than 800 community members have participated in the program.

Surveys completed by former Greater Mankato Leadership Institute class members place the connections made with other participants in the program as one of the most valuable outcomes of the nine-month leadership course. The Greater Mankato Leadership Institute Alumni Social event will allow alumni to reconnect with past classmates as well as past directors of the Greater Mankato Leadership Institute program.

“All alumni are encouraged to stop by and take part in this great opportunity to reconnect,” said Shannon Gullickson, Talent Programs Director at Greater Mankato Growth, “this event has become an annual tradition.” Gullickson is also working with several volunteers on a short presentation on the history of the program, which was first known as Leadership Mankato Area (LMA). The presentation will be held at 5:15 pm.”

Hors d’oeuvres from Najwa’s Catering and beverages will be served during the event. There is no charge to attend, however registration is required. Registration and more information can be found online at: greatermankato.com/leadership.

Alumni are encouraged to share photos and memorabilia from the program with Greater Mankato Growth. Please send your items and direct questions to Shannon Gullickson, sgullickson@greatermankato.com or 507.385.6656.
