Greater Mankato Songs on the Lawn Celebrates 10 Years
(June 4, 2013) MANKATO, MINN. - Greater Mankato Growth celebrates the 10th annual Songs on the Lawn, with the same musical flavor and fun that is promised each year at this popular event. Greater Mankato Songs on the Lawn is presented by Xcel Energy and takes place every Thursday in June from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Civic Center Plaza in front of Mankato’s Intergovernmental Center. Admission, with parking available in the Civic Center and Cherry Street ramps for free.
This year’s musical line-up includes:
June 6: The Bitterroot Band
June 13: The DW3
June 20: The Pickup Boys
June 27: The Frye
Songs on the Lawn allows community members the opportunity to gather with co-workers, families and friends at the Civic Center Plaza to enjoy sun, entertainment, activities and food. Attendees may purchase lunch and snacks sold by a variety of local vendors including: Angie’s Kettle Corn, Buffalo Wild Wings, Culver’s Frozen Custard, Dino’s Gourmet Pizzeria, Neighbor’s Italian Bistro, Number 4 American Bar & Kitchen, Tavern on the Avenue, Hy-Vee, Olives, Pub 500, Sodexo and The Loose Moose Saloon.
