Greater Mankato Songs on the Lawn Hosts Launch of New Community Navigators Program

June 20th Songs on the Lawn will Feature Music from The Federales
MANKATO, MINN. (June 19, 2019) - The second installment of the summer concert series Greater Mankato Songs on the Lawn, an event of Greater Mankato Growth, was held last week, Thursday, June 13th. The Civic Center Plaza lawn was filled with friends, family and co-workers with their chairs and blankets as The Holly Rocka Rollaz performed 50’s and rockabilly music. In addition to the free entertainment, Greater Mankato Growth (literally) launched the Greater Mankato Community Navigators Program. The program will work with a network of community members to connect with newcomers, aligning them with similar interests to get plugged into the Greater Mankato community.
Attendees may purchase lunch and snacks sold by a variety of local vendors including Dino’s Gourmet Pizzeria, Flask, Hy-Vee, Number 4 American Bar & Kitchen, Olives, Pub 500, Tavern of the Avenue and The Loose Moose Saloon & Conference Center, and Wooden Spoon.
