Greater Mankato Young Professionals Announce their 2016 Officers
MANKATO Minn. (January 11, 2016) – The Greater Mankato Young Professionals (YPs), a program of Greater Mankato Growth, recently announced their 2016 officer team. Officers include:
Program Chair: Jaci Sprague, Junior Achievement of Greater Mankato
Membership Chair: Dianna Lyngholm, Carlson Craft
Professional Development Chairs: Alec Pfeffer, U.S. Bank and Kelli Poppitz, ISG
Social Chair: Shelly Fromm, Pear Tree Greetings
“The Greater Mankato Young Professionals program is very unique in the fact that the programming is created and directed by the Young Professionals themselves,” said Talent Programs Director Shannon Gullickson. “The officers are responsible for leading their committees in planning and implementing more than 50 events during the year, which ensures we’re delivering the types of programming and events that today’s young professionals are seeking” said Gullickson.
About the Greater Mankato Young Professional Program
The Greater Mankato Young Professionals program gives young professionals age 21 - 39 an opportunity to engage with one another at monthly professional development and social events as well as through mentoring and networking opportunities. Each year these officers work with their respective volunteer committees in planning YP events as well as recruiting members. The YP program aims to provide opportunities for its members to make new connections while at the same time familiarize them with the activities and amenities available in Greater Mankato as they grow their careers.
