Mankato Half Marathon Nominated Again for BibRave 100 List

MANKATO, Minn.—The Mankato Marathon, presented by Mayo Clinic Health System, is in the running as a top half marathon in the nation on The BibRave 100 list again in 2018.

The Mankato Half Marathon has been selected through the nomination process for The BibRave 100, a definitive list of the top races in America. It will recognize the top 20 half marathons in the country, with the top five being ranked and a winner being crowned, as well as other race distances like the full marathon, 10K and 5K.

“Having the running community nominate the Mankato Marathon in the half marathon category a second time is an immense honor,” said Mark Bongers, Mankato Marathon race director. “We would love to see our race in the top five and put it on the map as one of the country’s greatest races.”

Anyone can vote for finalists at TheBibRave100.com through September 16. The public online vote will be combined with other data from BibRave’s running industry survey to create an aggregate score for each race in The BibRave 100 list for 2018. After the votes are collected, BibRave will reveal the final list November 28.

In 2017, the Mankato Marathon was nominated as a Top 20 Half Marathon and Top 10 Beautiful On-Course Scenery on The BibRave 100 list.

BibRave is a running community that connects runners with the best races.
