Mankato Marathon is a Weekend Fit for Everyone

MANKATO, Minn.— Aug. 31 is the final registration discount cut off for the Mankato Marathon, presented by Mayo Clinic Health System, Oct. 21-22.

The Mankato Marathon is designed to be a family-friendly weekend with races for every age of runner, everything from a full marathon to the younger runner-friendly 5K. Kids can have a blast during the KidsK and Toddler Trot, while even the littlest ones can crawl their way to a good time during the Diaper Dash. My Bold Walk offers people with physical limitations a way to get involved in a supported event.

The Scheels Sport & Health Expo is open Oct. 21 for everybody to enjoy. A wide range of exhibitors and vendors offer varying services to athletes and shopping for everyone. Kids can burn off energy in the Kids Zone, complete with an indoor rock wall, inflatables, face painting and more. 

The Mankato Marathon is famous for its Cheer Teams, strategically placed throughout the course to cheer on runners at difficult times. Community involvement along the course is exceptional, as well, with many spectators cheering on runners.
