MANKATO SPORTS COMMISSION SEEKS COMMISSIONER NOMINATIONS
MANKATO, Minn.— The nominating committee for the Mankato Sports Commission is seeking candidates to fill three seats on its advisory board.
The Mankato Sports Commission, the governing sporting board of Visit Mankato, is made up of a precise composition of 21 stakeholders representing the interests of the sports industry and the marketplace.
The three open seats may be selected from any of the following categories:
- Visitor Engagement/Media
- Sports/Rec Representation
The term for these seats will begin October 12, 2017. Terms are for three years and directors may serve for two consecutive terms. Eligibility requirements include alignment with an open seat and ability to meet during the regular Sports Commission meeting times, which are the second Thursday of each month at 8 a.m.
Nominations must be completed online at mktosports.com/aboutus by 5 p.m. August 25. Those selected for the open seats will be notified September 14.
