2016 “Toys for Tots” Kick-Off
5th Annual Southern Minnesota Christmas Festival
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The 2016 Toys for Tots Campaign for the Mankato area is set to kick-off of Saturday, November 12th.
Toys and monetary donations will be collected that day at the 5th Annual Southern Minnesota Christmas Festival to be held from 11am-4pm at the Verizon Wireless Center. Over the previous four years of the festival, more than $5,500 dollars has been collected, along with 500 toys, 200 stocking stuffers and 50 books.
In addition to the Toys for Tots kick-off, the festival will include free entertainment, activities for the kids and a chance to meet Santa, along with food and gift vendors.
