Active PT expands to Mankato and opens its doors to the public

ActivePT Open House April 29th, 4:00-6:00 pm -  Ribbon Cutting with Greater Mankato Growth 3:45 pm

On February 24th, ActivePT expanded its physical therapy services to the Mankato area.  ActivePT acquired Optivus Physical Therapy and combined the strengths of both teams.  In addition to traditional physical therapy exercises, ActivePT emphasizes a hands-on approach to care that may include soft tissue mobilization, joint manipulation, and other treatment techniques to help reduce pain more quickly. ActivePT plans to add dry needling services at its new Mankato location this summer.

“At ActivePT, we don't just hand you a packet of exercises and expect you to go fix yourself. We provide personalized care that is hands-on.  We know your goals, and pursue them with our passion!”  -Brian McQuilkin, co-owner of ActivePT

The ActivePT - Mankato team will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Friday, April 29th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at its clinic located at 1681 Commerce Drive, North Mankato, MN 56003.  The event will include free 15-minute walk-in screening assessments by the physical therapists, free food from Absolute Custom Catering, drinks from Mankato Brewery, and prizes.  Prizes include Airpod Pros, a JBL Extreme indoor/outdoor speaker, a $100 gift certificate to Nolabelle, and much more!

ActivePT’s mission is to make people better, both their team members and their patients.  Optivus, previously Wenger Physical Therapy, has been serving the Mankato area since 1978.  ActivePT was founded in 2008 in Rochester, Minnesota so that passionate physical therapists could have a place to collaborate and provide great care.  Today, ActivePT serves nine communities through 13 locations throughout Southern Minnesota.  At ActivePT, patients become our family.  Team members get to know their patients by name and learn about their story.  ActivePT accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare, and is a tier 1 provider for Medica Mayo Clinic employees.
