Mankato – Ben Ellingson, Mankato’s partner-in-charge at Eide Bailly LLP, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, has been elected Chair of the MN Society of CPAs effective April 1, 2020. Ellingson has served on the board in other roles since 2015. His chair term will last for one year.
Ben has been providing public accounting services to Eide Bailly clients since 1999 in a wide variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations. Along with traditional tax and audit services, Ben's clients utilize his expertise related to operational efficiencies, tax strategies, internal controls and strategic business planning.
They MN Society of CPAs was founded in 1904 and holds the responsibility of serving the organization at large as well as representing CPA members across the state in public accounting, business, academia, and government. Today with more than 8,500 members, they provide services to the public and serve as an educational resource.
“I am excited to give back and contribute to this excellent organization as the MNCPA Chair. The MNCPA is a great resource for so many CPAs and I look forward to continuing to serve them in this new capacity,” Ellingson says.
