State of YWCA Mankato makes bold statement

MANKATO, MINN. – The State of the YWCA, previously known as the YWCA Annual Meeting, will take place Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the Country Inn & Suites in Mankato, Minn. The event will highlight successes and offer attendees a chance to reconnect with YWCA Mankato and learn about the strategic vision of the organization.

“Our theme this year is Bold Mission, Bright Future,” said Executive Director, Barb Dorn, “we encourage all community members to come hear about the exciting direction in which we’re headed. YWCA Mankato is committed to our mission to eliminate racism and empower women, and looks forward to a very bright future indeed.”

The event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The cost of the event is $40/ticket or $300 for a table of eight and includes lunch. Attendees will also receive annual report information and be entered to win a complimentary ticket to the 2017 Women’s Leadership Conference.
