Organic Cowboys to Close 11th Annual Songs on the Lawn

(June 26, 2014) MANKATO, MINN. – The sun was out for the most attended Songs on the Lawn yet this year. The popular band, The Last Revel, performed a nice mix of folk and bluegrass music on Thursday, June 26. Children enjoyed drawing on the sidewalks, playing with bean bags, bowling and other entertainment.

Co-workers and friends gathered on the lawn and sidewalks in Civic Center Plaza to enjoy local cuisine from: The Loose Moose Saloon & Conference Center, Tavern on the Avenue, Sodexo/University Dining Services, Pub 500, Olives, Number 4 American Bar & Kitchen, Neighbor’s Italian Bistro, Hy-Vee, Dino’s Gourmet Pizzeria, Culver’s Frozen Custard, Buffalo Wild Wings and Angie’s Popcorn.

The final Songs on the Lawn of the season will take place Thursday, July 10 from 11 am to 1 pm, a make-up day from the weather related cancellation on June 19. The event will take place in Civic Center Plaza with live music from Organic Cowboys.
