SUMMARY:MOMF 48 Hr Band Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The MOMF 48 Hour Band Challenge is a Minnesota Original Music Festival event where musicians from across the state of Minnesota are randomly placed in bands and asked to develop a short set of music including an original\, a cover\, and a cover that includes various randomizers (these vary year to year\, randomizers from last year’s contest included changing the lyrics of a song into a hot dish recipe\, changing the style of a piece music to match a well-known Minnesota artist\, changing instruments in the middle of the song\, etc.). The Challenge includes two separate events\, the Band Challenge Draft held Wednesday\, July 17\, 5:00 pm at Paddlefish Brewing\, Saint Peter\, & the Band Challenge Contest held Friday\, July 19\, 6:00 pm at Patrick’s on Third\, Saint Peter.
