MANKATO, Minn.—The Mankato Marathon, presented by Mayo Clinic Health System, is 117 days from today, but the time to register before a big price break is in the single digits.

Runners who haven’t registered for the 2017 Mankato Marathon have until 11:59 p.m. June 30 to sign up for races. The price increases range from a 10 percent increase on the Relay to 18 percent on the full marathon.

“We’re looking to make the Marathon affordable for everyone to enjoy, and these savings are fairly substantial when you look at it in terms of percent increase,” said Mark Bongers, Mankato Marathon race director. “This is the second of two major price breaks throughout the registration period, so take advantage now because regular registration doesn’t get much better than this!”

There is a two-race discount for runners who like an extra challenge or as a warm-up day before the big race. A $10 discount is offered for the Pork Power 5K race October 21 if a runner registers for the full or half marathon October 22.

Runners can also take advantage of a corporate discount by organizing a group of co-workers to run any of the Mankato Marathon races. The Mankato Marathon offers a $5 corporate discount per person for companies that have 10 or more runners.

To take advantage of the two-race or corporate discounts, contact Final Stretch at info@finalstretch.com or at 507-664-9438.
