Second Greater Mankato Songs on the Lawn a Success
(June 18, 2015) MANKATO, MINN. - Songs on the Lawn, an event of Greater Mankato Growth and presented by Xcel Energy, was another success on Thursday, June 18. The lawn was overflowing with blankets and chairs as The Last Revel performed folk rock melodies while attendees of all ages danced along to the music.
The crowd enjoyed lunch and snacks from various vendors including: Buffalo Wild Wings, Culver’s Frozen Custard, Dino’s Gourmet Pizzeria, Hy-Vee, Olives, Primrose Retirement Community, Tavern on the Avenue, The Neighbor's Italian Bistro, Number 4, Pub 500, Sodexo and The Loose Moose Saloon & Conference Center.

Songs on the Lawn takes place every Thursday in June and the second Thursday in July from 11 am to 1 pm at Jackson Park, adjacent to The Free Press.
