Shannon Gullickson new Talent Programs Director for Greater Mankato Growth

MANKATO, MINN. (October 23, 2012) – Greater Mankato Growth has named Shannon Gullickson its new Talent Programs Director. As Director, Gullickson will be chiefly responsible for two programs: the Greater Mankato Young Professionals and Greater Mankato Leadership Institute.

“I am excited to share my passion for Greater Mankato with today’s current and future leaders,” said Gullickson. “I am looking forward to facilitating quality learning and business connections for participants in the Young Professionals and Leadership Institute programs.”

Gullickson brings to Greater Mankato Growth more than 20 years of extensive leadership experience in non-profit and for-profit organizations. For the past six years she served as Director of Business Development for Coldwell Banker Commercial Fisher Group of Mankato.  Prior to that, she worked for the Greater Mankato Chamber of Commerce for 13 years, serving in a number of capacities including directing the Greater Mankato Leadership Institute.

Gullickson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications–Public Relations from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has served in numerous volunteer leadership positions, including currently being on the Executive Committee for the Kiwanis Holiday Lights and Vice President for the Greater Mankato Area United Way Board of Directors.
