(April 7, 2014) MANKATO, MINN. – Greater Mankato Growth is pleased to announce the 2014 Southern Minnesota Business Showcase, held April 29, from 4 – 7 pm at the Verizon Wireless Center in Mankato. This annual event is sponsored by Center for Business & Industry, a Division of South Central College and is open to the business community of southern Minnesota.

For the first time, the Business Showcase has been expanded and will move from the ballroom to the arena with an all-new designer lounge area. Enjoy food samples from greater Mankato restaurants and a cash bar outside the designer lounge. The Business Showcase gives professionals the opportunity to network with more than 500 individuals from area businesses and learn about the products or services they provide.

“This is the event that the greater Mankato business community anticipates each year,” said Jonathan Zierdt, President & CEO of Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. “The new lounge and expanded space is a testament to the popularity of this event and our efforts to offer area businesses a wider array of networking opportunities.”
