Beans Coffee Company was founded by two friends, Clay and Eric, who started roasting coffee in a popcorn popper at home in 2011. The first batches were awful, but after some much-needed R & D they learned how to roast good coffee (DeNovo was born). The next adventure was a converted gas grill roaster, which, besides almost setting the garage on fire, worked well! In 2015, the company made the jump to a commercial-grade roaster and moved into a dedicated roastery. In 2021, Clay and Eric built a mobile coffee shop, and since 2024, we have enjoyed connecting with our guests in our brick-and-mortar location on Belgrade Avenue!
