DESCRIPTION:Welcome the turning of the season with a naturalist-led walk through the winter woods at Minneopa State Park. Explore the beauty of the longest night of the year. \nMeet at the Minneopa group camp parking lot. Bring a flashlight or headlamp and warm clothes. \nThis program is free to attend. A valid Minnesota State Park Vehicle Permit is required. They may be purchased online or at the park office.

SUMMARY:Off-Trail with a Naturalist at Minneopa State Park
DESCRIPTION:Join a park naturalist on a guided snowshoe hike to explore the park’s less visited areas and enjoy a great view of the Minneopa Creek River Valley. We will hike right alongside the ridgeline that descends to the Minneopa Creek\, giving us the opportunity to see some natural features in the park that many may not have seen before! The snowshoes will be available for free but must be reserved at least two days in advance by emailing Kelsey.M.Moe@state.mn.us.
