Volunteers integral to a successful Mankato Marathon weekend

MANKATO, Minn.—Volunteers are such an important part of making the Mankato Marathon presented by Mayo Clinic Health System run smoothly.

Approximately 275 volunteer positions like handing out water at a water stop, interacting with people in the Hy-Vee Kidz Zone and marshaling along the course are available. Thanks to MTU Onsite Energy, the official Mankato Marathon volunteer sponsor, volunteers will receive a shirt, gloves and snacks.

If an organization of 10-15 people would like to volunteer as a group at a water stop, contact Joelle at 507-385-6679 or jbaumann@visitmankatomn.com. High school and college students can use the Mankato Marathon to fulfill volunteer hours. With questions, contact Joelle at 507-385-6679 or at jbaumann@visitmankatomn.com.
