{"id":5273,"date":"2018-02-12T10:30:01","date_gmt":"2018-02-12T15:30:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greatermankatoblog.com\/?p=5273"},"modified":"2024-01-04T15:26:16","modified_gmt":"2024-01-04T21:26:16","slug":"webinar-for-training-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greatermankato.com\/blog\/webinar-for-training-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Webinar for Training Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-5275 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/greatermankato.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/webinar_v2.jpg\" alt=\"Webinar_V2\" width=\"375\" height=\"274\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On February 13, at 10 am, the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry is conducting a webinar for a program already used by two Greater Mankato area employers.\u00a0 The PIPELINE Program is a training program that is industry-based and employer-driven.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dual training, like apprenticeship, is an earn-as-you-learn approach where the employer invests in its employee by building a training infrastructure, developing career pathways and investing in the employee\u2019s education.<\/p>\n<p>The PIPELINE Program supports employers to develop and expand dual-training through tools and technical support. Dual-training grants, administered by Minnesota Office of Higher Education (OHE), provide funding for employers to create new dual-training programs and provide dual-training opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The Minnesota PIPELINE (<strong>P<\/strong>rivate\u00a0<strong>I<\/strong>nvestment,\u00a0<strong>P<\/strong>ublic\u00a0<strong>E<\/strong>ducation,\u00a0<strong>L<\/strong>abor and\u00a0<strong><br \/>\nI<\/strong>ndustry\u00a0<strong>E<\/strong>xperience) Program is an innovative approach to address current and future workforce needs.
