MANKATO, MINNESOTA (December 4, 2023)<\/strong> \u2013 Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. is hosting a Community Update on Thursday, December 14, from 3 to 5 pm, at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato. Please join us to hear about our work-to-date and to continue to engage in the formation of strategic pillars and next steps for the Greater Mankato 2040: Transforming Tomorrow Together planning initiative.<\/p>\n

Over the past year, this initiative has connected more than a thousand community members through event engagement, survey participation, focus groups, and the development of project portal information to help shape a future vision and roadmap for the Greater Mankato region. The upcoming Community Update will include a presentation of our findings, breakout group discussion, networking opportunities, and more. We\u2019re eager to gain more stakeholder input as we welcome businesses, organizations from all sectors, students, and community members to continue the progress in creating a collective vision and strategic positioning for the Greater Mankato region.<\/p>\n

\nThe Greater Mankato 2040: Transforming Tomorrow Together initiative is a robust, inclusive, and forward-looking regional community planning process. It aims to explore the future strategic positioning of the Greater Mankato region and to create an enduring, collaborative vision and roadmap to the future. The result will be a shared regional plan containing an initial implementation and roadmap, as well as actions to move us toward the shared vision we create for the region.<\/em><\/p>\n
