Have you ever pondered what our region of the state, country and world has been built upon? Why did people settle here? What did they make there living from? What are our businesses in our communities great at today?
Did you ever think some things have not changed? We were built upon agriculture and we still are an agriculture based community. Today I am grateful to Minnesota State University, Mankato as they take a big step in playing a strong role in the future of agriculture by receiving a USDA designation of a “Non-Land Grant College of Agriculture”. It is a perfect fit for our economy and will be fun to watch them grow their agriculture base. Click here to read the full release on their exciting new designation.
