“To Bind Up the Nation’s Wounds”: President Abraham Lincoln’s Promise for a “Just and Lasting Peace,” & the Tragedy of his Assassination will be presented by Bryce Stenzel, Lincoln Historian and Costumed Historical Interpreter, examining Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address, his Reconstruction plan, the surrender of the Confederacy and the tragedy of Lincoln’s assassination.
