The Minneopa Golf Course has been serving the greater Mankato area for over 75 years. M.J. Donndelinger started construction on the course is 1928 and it was opened to the public in May of 1929. The course was designed by Donndelinger and John McRae, who was the club professional at the Mankato Golf Club at the time.

A tragic accident led to Donndelinger selling the course to Henry (Hank) Bohks in 1930. This started the first of three generations of the Bohks family owning and operating the Minneopa Golf Club. After Hank suffered a heart attack while playing the 9th hole and passed away, the course’s management was turned over to his son, Kenneth Bohks. He operated the course with his wife, Donna, and his sister, Elaine in the early 1960s. Kenneth and Donna operated the course until 1997, when his son, Kyle, and daughter-in-law, Tracey, purchased the course from them.

In 2014, Minneopa Golf Course had a fire that burned down the clubhouse. Kyle and Tracey operated the rest of the season, but felt it was time to move on. In the spring of 2015, the Minneopa Golf Club was purchased from the Bohks family by an investment group in Mankato.

Nestled between the Minnesota and Blue Earth Rivers, Sibley Park is one of the oldest parks in Greater Mankato, once featuring a horse racing track, regional zoo, museum and clay tennis courts. Now featuring an agricultural theme, the park has been recognized as having one of the coolest playgrounds in the state by NewsCastic in 2015. To add to the theme, there is a petting zoo with farm animals typically including, alpacas, goats, peacocks, lambs, chicks, as well as Koi fish in the pond. More features of this beautiful, historic place include beautiful walking trails through the park and along the river, gorgeous flower and stone gardens, HealthBeat outdoor exercise equipment and a bandshell that is utilized in the summer months to host the Mankato Area Community Band and more! In the winter, take a sled and delight in a large sledding hill for everyone to enjoy! Coming festively aglow, the park is decorated with more than 2 million lights and dancing displays during 基瓦尼斯假日灯 event that begins on black Friday through December 31.

Sibley Park consists of three adult softball fields with one lighter field for nighttime play. Each field has the capacity to house 100-200 spectators and is equipped with bleachers, permanent restrooms, and ample parking. A playground in the area serves as entertainment for the little ones too.

This facilities include a beautiful 9 hole regulation course, an executive Par 3 course, a 50+ stall driving range and a full service pro shop.

This 3304 yard, par 36 course is great for the beginner golfer and yet challenging for more advanced golfers that are willing to take risks.

Many improvements have been made to the course over the last few years. We have cleared out a lot of the shrubbery around the creek, put in a new bunker on hole 3 and installed a new irrigation system to keep the fairways in great shape all year round.

Tourtellotte Pool is an 8-lane outdoor, lifeguard-staffed, swimming facility featuring an Olympic-sized pool. It is located in Tourtellotte Park, 310 East Mabel Street, Mankato.

The park also includes outdoor pickleball courts and softball field.

Tourtellotte Pool is operated and maintained through a partnership between the city of Mankato and the Mankato YMCA. The pool was renovated in 2024 to include a new zero entry pool with a mini slide and larger slide, along with main pool updates and facility updates.
