Caring Hearts Senior Community David Shilo and Felicia Fehn Awarded MBFC’s VetLoan Advantage Rebate

MBFC is honored to present David Shilo and Felicia Fehn, Caring Hearts Senior Community MBFC’s VetLoan Advantage Rebate of $3,000. This rebate is part of MBFC’s Strategic Initiative of the National Association of Development Company’s (NADCO) VetLoan Advantage program. MBFC is the only Certified Development Company in the upper Midwest to offer a rebate to Veteran business owners that are active or retired members of military service as a way to honor their service to our Country. Caring Hearts Senior Community, LLC is located in Pequot Lakes, MN.

Caring Hearts Senior Community worked with Joe Kammermeier at MBFC on the SBA 504 loan project for the purchase of the 15-suite adult assisted living facility in Pequot Lakes, MN. Kim Erickson with American National Bank in Nisswa, MN partnered with MBFC on the project as the lead bank.

David Shilo, Senior Airman serves as a Cyber Defense Operator for the 934th Communications Squadron at the 934th AW, stationed in Minnesota. He is responsible for the management and maintenance of networking equipment all across base. David first enlisted in the Air Force in September, 2018. He graduated in March 2020 from the Cyber Transport Systems Specialist technical school at Keesler AFB. He then reported to his first duty station at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas where he spent 3 years leading a 10 member network management team in providing classified IT support for 900 faculty and 14 thousand students and managed 92 routers and switches connecting 7 classified and 6 unclassified facilities. In February 2023 he transferred to the Air Force Reserves and moved back home to Minnesota, where he joined the 934th Civil Engineering Squadron as an Electrical Apprentice. He spent the year learning and awaiting tech school dates until he received an opportunity to transfer back to his original career field as a Cyber Defense Operator. In March 2024, he transferred to the 934th Communications Squadron where he now resides as a Cyber Defense Operator. Throughout his tenure, Airman Shilo has been instrumental in various operations, ensuring the integrity of cyber networks for base operations.
