Mankato, MN (Nov. 6, 2023) – The Junior Achievement Bronze Leadership Award is granted to a Junior Achievement volunteer who has preformed outstanding service at all levels within the organization. This year, Linda Albrecht, Principal from Eide Bailly was named as the award winner.
“I am truly humbled and honored to be receiving this award. Words cannot express what a rewarding experience it has been to volunteer for this organization – that it is why I’ve done it for over 30 years; as a classroom volunteer and board member for the last 7 years,” shared Albrecht.
JA Senior Manager, Katie Mons says Linda is passionate about JA’s mission and continues to educate others on financial literacy, work and career readiness and entrepreneurship. “These skills are essential in today’s world. She is a great choice for this award as Linda continues to make a positive impact throughout the Greater Mankato Area. I have not met anyone that has donated 30 years as a JA volunteer and we are grateful beyond words for her service and support.”
JA is a non-profit organization that envisions a world where young people have the skillset and the mindset to build thriving communities. JA programs align to three pathways: Financial Literacy, Career Readiness, and Entrepreneurship. Through a continuum of experiential learning opportunities, K-12 students acquire competencies needed to reach their full potential. This year, JA in the Greater Mankato Area expects to impact over 8,000 local students with JA programs.
