Thanksgiving is a time when we are coming home, gathering with our families and enjoying a big meal. Unfortunately, not everyone can do this. About 4,000 households depend on the Echo Food Shelf annually. The holidays are a good time to share our abundance with other families.

In 2018, the Echo Food Shelf distributed 1.9 million pounds of food and served 111,000 pounds of food during the 2019 Summer Feeding Program. Echo Food Shelf is also in need of hygiene products such as toothpaste, shampoo, soap, diapers and baby wipes. A monetary donation is a great option. When you give $1 to the Echo Food Shelf, they can stretch it to $5. Your $10 donation buys $50 in groceries!

Let’s Move the Town and stock the Echo Food Shelf! Profile by Sanford and the Mankato Clinic Foundation are each donating $1 per pound of food collected, up to $1,000 each, to the Echo Food Shelf. So give generously!
