Mankato also ranks as the top manufacturing hub in Greater Minnesota, a sector Boulay specializes in.

Greater Mankato attributes the city’s economic stability to its diverse economy, which includes a 28% primary sector, a 50% professional and service sector, and a 21% retail/consumer sector. Over the past decade, the region has attracted more than $1.5 billion in capital investment, solidifying its reputation as a sound investment market.
