In January, Greater Mankato Growth (GMG) hosted a real estate meeting for area partners such as developers, commercial realtors and financial institutions. GMG brought in the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors Executive Director, Matt Anfang. We were fortunate to have Jon Holm and Chris Allen from Xceligent join us as well. 

The purpose of the meeting was to convene movers and shakers in commercial and industrial development and share what resources are available to assist them in presenting the community for potential new businesses and existing business expansion.  It was a nice networking opportunity as well. Myself (John Considine) and Jim Santori, GMG’s New Business Development Director, presented on the multiple resources GMG has compiled to present the strengths and opportunities the Greater Mankato community has to offer. MNCAR and Xceligent presented the tools in their toolbox for assisting realtors and developers as well. MNCAR utilizes Xceligent software for the most robust commercial/industrial database in the state. Additionally MNCAR has several other tools for understanding local markets, receiving leads and professional development connections.

GMG is now receiving the MNCAR/Xceligent feed to it’s website. So any land or buildings that are in their inventory, are going to be featured on our website as well. There is no charge to put information into the MNCAR/Xceligent database. In fact, they have staff to do it for you. The information is populated by Xceligent staff, who compiles it from local developers and realtors.
