Hoppy Easter in Mankato! Fun Events for All Ages

 

Easter is just around the corner! Whether you’re looking for classic egg hunts, delicious brunches, or unique ways to celebrate, Mankato has something for everyone this Easter season.

 

Egg-citing Egg Hunts

 

Bring your own basket to River Hills Mall on Saturday, March 23 for a morning of family fun searching for colorful Easter eggs hidden throughout the common area of the mall. There will be free carousel rides, face painting, and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! The egg hunt for ages 1-4 begins at 9:00 a.m., and ages 5-8 will start at 9:30.

The North Mankato Taylor Library’s Annual Egg Hunt will take place from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday the 23rd with games, activities, and fun with the Easter Bunny. Registration is required – call 507-345-5120 to sign up!

Have some egg-stra fun in the Lake Crystal Rec Center Pool with their annual Egg Dive on Friday, March 29! Get a special treat for every egg you find. Enjoy swimming and special Easter egg activities at this special event from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

 

Beyond the Basket: Easter Brunch

 

Stop by Country Inn & Suites for Easter Brunch from 10:30 to 1:00 on March 31. Savor their signature Champagne Chicken with green beans, or choose from Honey Roasted Pork Loin, Pasta Bar, Chef Blake’s Famous Layered French Toast, Kids Menu items, and many more brunch favorites.

Venture downtown to Number 4 between 9:30 and 2:00 on Easter Sunday for their annual Easter Brunch, featuring an array of menu items from pastries and their famous Caprese Platter to Wild Rice Breakfast Sausage, omelets, and a Beef Strip Loin Carving Station. Bring the kids and meet a very Special Guest – any guesses who?

 

Mankato Area Spring Shop Hop

 

Grab family or friends and experience the fun variety of shops throughout Mankato’s beautiful downtown at the annual Spring Shop Hop! From Saturday, March 23 through Sunday, March 24, pick up a passport at your first location and collect stamps. Then turn in at your last location, to be entered for amazing prizes from the amazing local shops participating.
