Easter is just around the corner! Whether you’re looking for classic egg hunts, delicious brunches, or unique ways to celebrate, Greater Mankato has something for everyone this Easter season.

 

Egg-citing Egg Hunts

 

  • The North Mankato Taylor Library’s Annual Egg Hunt will take place from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28 with games, activities, and fun with the Easter Bunny. Registration is required – call 507-345-5120 to sign up!
  • Join Mankato Riverfront HyVee for their Easter Egg Hunt! Hunt for eggs in the produce & bakery departments, decorate cookies, enjoy face painting, and keep an eye out for a special surprise appearance by the Easter Bunny!
  • Have some egg-stra fun in the Lake Crystal Area Recreation Center Pool with their annual Egg Dive on Friday, April 3! Get a special treat for every egg you find. Enjoy swimming and special Easter egg activities at this special event from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Head over to Eagle Lake, MN on Saturday, April 4 for the Free Annual Eagle Lake Community Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Eagle Lake Area Lions Club. The hunt will begin at 10 a.m. sharp with multiple age groups, prize baskets for the lucky kids who find an egg with a golden ticket inside, and a chance to take photos with the Easter Bunny.
  • For those over 21, join Schell’s Brewery for their Easter Keg Hunt Saturday, April 4. Follow clues throughout the city of New Ulm, just a short drive from Mankato, leading you to the hidden keg. Each member of the winning team will receive a $25 gift certificate for a bar tab at the brewery, a case of Schell’s Beer, and bragging rights for all of 2026!

 

Beyond the Basket: Easter Brunch

 

  • Hit up the Wow! Zone for an Easter Brunch Buffet! Happening from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the buffet will include everything from fresh pastries to savory roasts and a delightful dessert bar. For reservations, call 507-625-2695.
  • Stop by the Country Inn & Suites for their Easter Brunch, in partnership with Legends Bar & Grill, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 5. Savor their signature Champagne Chicken, or choose from Hickory Smoked Pork Loin, Omelette Bar, French Toast Sticks, Kids Menu items, and many more brunch favorites, along with a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
  • Celebrate Easter Sunday with an unforgettable buffet-style Easter Brunch at Number 4 Steakhouse Sunday, April 5 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., featuring a delicious spread of brunch favorites, chef-crafted entrées, and indulgent desserts the whole family will love.   • Easter Brunch Reservations are now open for Benedict’s Morning Heroes! Enjoy their famous Eggs Benny, a delicious pancake flight with a variety of flavor options or choose from a variety of breakfast cocktails or mocktails.
  • Join Swiss & Madison for their Easter Buffet! Happening Sunday, April 5 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., their buffet will include eggs, bacon, sausage, baked chicken, ribs, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, assorted salads, a dessert bar, and much more! For reservations, call 507-720-0818.
  • Skip the cooking, dishes, and stress of hosting and join Pub 500 for their Easter Buffet! Bring the whole crew and enjoy a spread full of your favorites, available Easter Sunday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
