Town Hall with Minnesota House Representative Jeff Brand

Clean Water Action and the Environmental Justice Table will join Representative Jeff Brand September 14th, 10:00 a.m. to noon at St.Peter Community Center, 600 South 5th Street, Room 219, St. Peter Mn. They will discuss the largest threat of toxic chemicals in Minnesota waters including toxic chemicals known as forever chemicals, nitrates and other pollutants. You’ll hear about the upcoming legislative session and the plans in place to address these issues; how you can actively participate in shaping policies that protect our water; ensure a safer future for all and tips on how to be safe from these toxic chemicals in your home. Representative Jeff Brand was the chief author of Amara’s Law in the House, working alongside leaders in the House and Senate to pass the most comprehensive ban of PFAS in consumer products in the United States.
