13th Annual Civil War Symposium

The Friends of the Boy in Blue Civil War Memorial will present the 13th annual Civil War Symposium. The symposium will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Morson-Ario-Strand VFW, 1900 No. Riverfront Dr. in Mankato.

The 13th annual symposium theme is: “Tale of Two Revolutions: Liberty and Union – Comparing the American Revolution and the American Civil War”. Featuring a full day of speakers, costumed interpreters, Revolutionary and Civil War era music, exhibits, books sale, panel discussions, and more.

Registration is $35/adults and $20/students. Friends of the Boy in Blue 2025 members receive a $5 discount on registration. Registration includes lunch and must be received before March 20, 2026.
