Let the Pipes Sing: Organ Demonstration

Let the Pipes Sing is a special community event celebrating the music and history of the Good Counsel Chapel pipe organ.

On April 11, the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will be traveling on a “Spring Organ Crawl,” visiting historic organs across the region. Good Counsel Chapel is honored to be one of the tour stops, giving visitors and community members alike a chance to hear and celebrate this remarkable instrument.

The demonstration will feature local organist, Chad Winterfeldt, along with guest musicians from the Mankato Symphony Orchestra, in a program that showcases the power, beauty, and versatility of the chapel’s historic pipe organ.

This event is also an opportunity to welcome the community back into the chapel and share the space as a place for music, reflection, and gathering.

Admission is free, and all are welcome.
Free-will donations will be accepted to help support the ongoing care and preservation of the Good Counsel Chapel organ.
