This month, immerse yourself in showings of On Dangerous Ground, February 11, and Harvey, February 25.
February 11 (Film Noir): Our first film follows a hardened city cop, Jim (Robert Ryan), who is softened by a blind woman, Mary (Ida Lupino). Her brother, as it happens, is involved in a rural man hunt led by Jim. On Dangerous Ground features a score by Bernard Herman and is reportedly the film composer’s favorite work.
