Victorian Christmas at Betsy & Tacy Houses

Please join us on Saturday, December 9, 1–4 p.m., for one of our favorite annual events: Victorian Christmas at the Betsy-Tacy Houses! No House tours will be given, but visitors may stroll through each home and enjoy the beautiful true-to-the-period holiday decorations.

In addition, visitors can:

Get their picture taken with Betsy, Tacy, and Tib from 1 to 3

Hear The Night Before Christmas, read aloud at 1:30 & 2:30 by a BTS volunteer

Help decorate Betsy’s Christmas tree by making button strings and paper garlands, or simply placing some lovely old-fashioned ornaments

Enjoy some heart-stirring holiday music from our visiting violinist

Do some holiday shopping in our Shop at Tacy’s House

Color and cut out Betsy, Tacy, and Tib paper dolls, upstairs in Betsy’s bedroom

Munch on delicious fresh-baked gingersnaps and chocolate chip cookies
