Deadline Approaching for Blue Earth, Nicollet County Business Owners to Apply for Physical Disaster Loans

The deadline is approaching for business owners in Blue Earth and Nicollet County to apply for physical damage loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. 

Loan applications are being accepted through Monday, September 30, 2024. 

Eligible uses of the loans include repairing or replacing disaster-damaged property owned by the business, including real estate, inventories, supplies, machinery and equipment.  Businesses of any size are eligible, as well as private, non-profit organizations such as charities, churches, private universities. 

Loans are also being accepted for businesses that have experienced economic loss. The application deadline for the Economic Injury Disaster Loans is April 29, 2025. 

Additionally, the Minnesota Chamber’s Energy Efficiency Grant Program offers support for energy-efficient appliance purchases.
